The Village at Vistancia is a family friendly community in northwest Peoria, AZ that opened in 2004. Prices of homes for sale in The Village range from the high $100s to the mid $400s. Houses range in size from 1,623 to 4,762 square feet. New homes for sale are still available by many of the builders. Spanning approximately 1,250 acres with 3,500 homes The Village at Vistancia is just south of Lake Pleasant Regional Park in northwest Peoria, AZ. The Village also offers two recreation centers the Mountain Vista Club as well as the Foothills Center. The Mountain Vista Club offers an aquatic park with three pools and two waterslides, in addition there are indoor basketball courts, a gymnasium, tennis courts and also a game lawn. The Foothills Center offers a six lane lap pool, children’s playground and picnic ramadas.

The amenities in The Village at Vistancia are outstanding. Along with the two recreation centers there is an amazing walking trail. The Discovery Trail is an amazing 3.5 mile linear park that winds its way throughout Vistancia, in addition, this trail is great for walking, running and biking. Featured on the trail is the Solar Garden with a one-billionth scale solar system, Cottonwood Park that has picnic ramadas and also a play area, and Riverwalk Park with outdoor fitness equipment, picnic ramadas and also a grass play area. What a wonderful place to spend a sunny Arizona day!
Schools in The Village at Vistancia
The Village at Vistancia currently has two great elementary schools within the community and as a result they are within walking distance to most home owners. Vistancia Elementary is located on N Sunrise Point and Lake Pleasant Elementary is located on N Westland Rd. Both of these K-8 schools are part of the Peoria Unified School District. One more elementary school is slated to open when the community is complete. High school students attend the highly rated Liberty High School located on W Speckled Gecko Dr. in Peoria, AZ.
